This was parked behind the ESPN anchors during the Euro Championships coverage earlier today in Paris. Looks like a cool car, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is.

I was pretty sure it was a Ferrari, but it was so out of context, the 330 didn’t occur to me. I forget which game it was now. Whatever the last game on Saturday was.

Italy beat Spain, this is gonna be great. AND ICELAND BEAT ENGLAND, WHAT WORLD ARE WE LIVING IN? That’s what you call a Brexit!

England got two Brexits in one week. That was awesome. They’re actually pretty damn good, those Vikings. We’ll see if they can conquer France. And England was just pathetic at the end of that game. And then Argentina lost to Chile over here. Leicester City in the Premiere League. The football world is upside down.

Iceland beat the Dutch in the prologue to the EC as well so we’re familiar with their fury. A land with 300k inhabitants. Awesome.

It really is. And, apparently 10% of the whole country is in France right now. And they said pretty much every single person with a television in Iceland was watching that game. Quite a phenomenon.

I believe 50% of the country’s inhabitants is abroad anyway. We had quite the Icelandic exchange students during college, few of them returned to Reykjavic. However that is spelled.

New Zealand is like that, too. When you live on an island, you need a change of scenery pretty often, I guess. When I’ve been to Hawaii, the local kids are always like, “I can’t wait to get off this rock.” And, I can’t imagine there’s much to do in Reykjavik if you’re young.

New Zealand is quite some island, that’s got to be a lot bigger than Iceland. More comfortable temperatures as well I suppose. But still... We have the Wadden eilanden , islands for the coast from which all the youth disappear when going to study. Northern Netherlands is one of the few regions not growing when it comes to inhabitants anyway.

New Zealanders are descended from people who wandered pretty far, so I guess they still get the urge. And there’s only so much to see in New Zealand. Is Northern Netherlands like the countryside?

Yep, many Dutchies ended up there. I’ve got family over there. Northern Netherlands totally us our countryside. Totally flat lands. Nothing to see there.
